Rain Hat by Van Leen (5 pcs) foldable bag Ruysch sold her paintings toThis rain hat is inspired by a tiny watercolour painting by the 18th century Dutch painter Willem van Leen: Bouquet of tulips, violets, blue grapes and dotters. The original only measures 21x14,4cm and is one of the many studies Van Leen undertook to practice his skills for the successful flower painter he would become. The scenery of this fragile bouquet might very well have been the pleasant and peaceful 'Jardin des Plantes' in the heart of Paris.
