This is predominantly hand harvested Tempranillo from four vineyards on clay limestone soils surrounding the winery, with just a touch of Mazuelo. Ageing is for 18 months (40% in new French oak), resulting in a sleek, concentrated wine with dark, supple fruit and notes of soft spice, licorice and pepper, and a touch of vanilla on the finish
