CHATEAU SALETTES BANDOL South Africa tasting notesThe nose opens withThe 17th century Chteau Salettes is one of the oldest wineries in Bandol. It sits on the Mediterranean coast between Toulon and Marseille at the foot of the hilltop village of La Cadire dAzur. The name SALETTES comes from this place where salt, a rich and precious commodity in the Middle Ages, was stored on the estate. It has belonged to the Ricard family since 1604, when Ricard de la Gaillardire, merchants from the Marseille Old Port, bought this
